Dozens of United Way Agencies Strip Hundreds Of Thousands Of Funds From The Scouts!

Grassfire.net has learned that dozens of local United Way agencies have withdrawn funding from the Boy Scouts, representing hundreds of thousands of dollars in lost support to the Scouts.

Some of the agencies that are CONFIRMED to have withdrawn support from the Scouts include:

Tuscon (AZ), San Francisco, Santa Clara, Santa Barbara, Sacramento (CA),  Norwalk, Danbury, Westport (CT), Palm Beach County, Orlando, Ft. Lauderdale (FL), Bloomington (IN), Boston (MA), Duluth (MN), Morristown (NJ), Bronxville (NY), Seattle (WA).

Many others are on the confirmed list. Plus, Grassfire.net is currently conducting a nationwide Field Report survey to identify additional agencies attacking the Scouts. (Already, thousands of Field Reports have been filed from across the country. To receive your CONFIDENTIAL Field Report form, please sign the petition!)

Loss of funding hurts Scouting

Local United Way agencies are a primary supporter of Scouting in America. Already the effects of these attacks are being felt. One New Jersey scouting chapter was forced to sell off a large parcel of land after the United Way cut funding.

This must be stopped. Grassfire.net wants to deliver a half-million Scouts petitions to United Way headquarters as soon as possible, but we need your help.
