OUR 24 MILITARY PERSONNEL ARE HOME. BUT WE STILL MUST SEND A STRONG MESSAGE TO CHINA'S COMMUNIST LEADERS

PETITION TO REVOKE CHINA'S
"FAVORED NATION" STATUS

PLEASE READ BELOW, SIGN THIS PETITION TO "REVOKE PNTR" AND SEND A PERSONAL "MESSAGE OF SUPPORT" TO THE 24 U.S. PERSONNEL BEING HELD HOSTAGE IN CHINA!

HERE'S WHAT'S HAPPENING:

For nearly 2 weeks, China’s communist government held 24 U.S. military personnel hostage. This action violated all international laws. Nonetheless, China continued to enjoy preferential trade and other benefits from the U.S. even while they held our U.S. personnel hostage! They are still holding our $80 million dollar airplane & equipment.

That is because last year, despite China’s long record of human and religious liberties abuses and its militant communist agenda, Congress passed a law granting China "Permanent Normalized Trade Relations" status (PNTR). This new law replaced the "most favored nation" review that Congress had conducted each year to assess China’s military and human rights record.

Because PNTR is "Permanent," by U.S. law China could hold our 24 military personnel hostage while still receiving preferential trade and other benefits from the U.S.!  That is why Congress must take action immediately to revoke PNTR and eliminate any preferential treatment China may be receiving from the U.S.

Rep. Tom Tancredo & Rep. Duncan Hunter have just introduced a bill to revoke PNTR, HR 1467 and Grassfire.net has launched this petition drive to support this effort.

REVOKING PNTR IS THE ONLY WAY TO GET THE ATTENTION OF THE LEADERS IN COMMUNIST CHINA!

Petitions will be gathered from citizens across the nation and delivered to Rep. Tancredo’s office as a massive show of support.

LET'S SEND CHINA'S LEADERS A MESSAGE!

China must be held accountable for this outreageous act! That is why Grassfire.net is still calling on Congress to immediately revoke PNTR!

HERE'S WHAT THE PETITION SAYS:

To:  Members of Congress, Rep. Tom Tancredo
Re:  Revoke China’s PNTR

I am deeply troubled by recent actions by the Chinese government to hold 24 U.S. service personnel hostage against all international law.

That is why I am calling on all members of Congress to move quickly and "REVOKE PNTR." In light of this outrageous action against our service personnel, the communist Chinese government should no longer receive permanent benefits provided by PNTR. Revoking PNTR is the best way to get the attention of China’s communist leadership. It should be done immediately.
